Cormoran® Histidine Buffer is a ready-to-dissolve dry buffer formulation designed for protein formulation, biopharmaceutical development and laboratory applications requiring reliable pH control.

The precisely balanced mixture of histidine and histidine hydrochloride provides a final concentration of 25 mM and a defined pH of 6.0 when dissolved in the specified volume of distilled water. No individual weighing of buffer components or subsequent pH adjustment is required.

Unlike conventional liquid buffers, the dry formulation offers excellent storage stability at room temperature without refrigeration. Its compact, moisture-protected packaging simplifies storage and shipping while reducing handling effort and preparation variability.

Simple Preparation

Add distilled water to the pre-weighed dry mixture, dissolve completely and adjust to the specified final volume. The resulting buffer is ready for use at 25 mM, pH 6.0 – without further pH adjustment.

Available in convenient pre-weighed quantities for defined preparation volumes. Customized concentrations, pH values and packaging formats are available upon request.

In addition to the standard formulation, Cormoran Biotech offers customized histidine-based buffer blends containing additional components such as NaCl, trehalose or sucrose, tailored to specific formulation and application requirements.
