Cormoran®Taq DNA Polymerase Kit Buffer C

Cormoran® Taq DNA Polymerase Kit with Buffer C provides a complete polymerase and reaction buffer system for routine PCR applications.

The kit combines Cormoran® Taq DNA Polymerase Hot-Start with our 5× PCR Reaction Buffer C. The Hot-Start format minimizes polymerase activity during reaction setup and helps reduce amplification from non-specific primer interactions before thermal cycling begins.

Buffer C represents one of three distinct reaction chemistries available for the Cormoran® Taq DNA Polymerase platform. Its alternative reaction environment can provide advantages for assays in which primer-template interactions, amplicon characteristics or other assay-specific factors require different conditions from conventional PCR buffer systems.

The kit is particularly suitable for assays in which Buffer C has been identified as the preferred reaction environment during optimization with the Cormoran® Discovery Taq DNA Polymerase Kit.

Suitable applications include:

• Routine endpoint PCR

• Assay development and validation

• Genotyping and allele-specific PCR

• Assays requiring stringent reaction conditions

• PCR protocols previously optimized with Cormoran® Reaction Buffer C

Kit content:

• Cormoran® Taq DNA Polymerase Hot-Start, 5 U/µl, 100 µl

• Cormoran® 5× PCR Reaction Buffer C, 2 × 1 ml

The supplied reagents are sufficient for approximately 500 PCR reactions with a final reaction volume of 20 µl.
